Short, to-the-point electronic tracks exploring MIDI sound possibilities and pseudo-Vocoder abuse. Some electro beats appear here and there, simile-analog synth creeps everywhere, but mostly the focus is on the weird side of electronic music.

Spelled in German fashion for extra impact, the ‘Lexicon Katapult’ concept refers to recurring, abstract Vocoder utterances in the music as well as whimsical individual track titles—mostly actual English words plus French portmanteau words of my own design.

Laurent Fairon (born 1969) is a French musician, DJ and record collector living in Paris. Active as a sound art blogger and archivist from 2007 to 2016 via Continuo's Weblog and Continuo's Documents, he also contributed a dozen articles on sound art to the US Wikipedia and partnered with Ubuweb to archive rare recordings (2007–09). Currently reviewer of independent experimental music releases on Tumblr @ continuo-docs.tumblr.com

As a DJ, author of 25 Continuumixes (2008–16) and a couple of mixes for NTS Live radio (UK) in 2017. Monthly experimental radio shows in France on LYL Radio (2018–2019) and Jet FM (2020–2021). Live DJing at London’s Cafe OTO in May 2015.

As a composer, published several cassettes in the early 1990s on various DIY labels. Entr'acte released the Musique Isotype CD in 2016. More recent music on Bandcamp.
