about

[English:]
This is a mix based on ethnic music excerpts from 78rpm and 33rpm records, documentary film soundtrack, library music or birdsong, all heavily processed through radical sound treatments, loops and virtual synth to form an intense and immersive musical perambulation.

Malapropismes was commissioned by Parisian collective 'Zone de Silence' – comprising Sonic Protest, Collectif COAX and Les Instants Chavirés – for their 'Ça Sent Le Sapin' radiophonic festival broadcasted from Montreuil near Paris on the 12th december 2020.
